BetHog Turns Its AI Live Dealer Feature Into A Wider B2B Play

Crypto casino BetHog says it has raised $10 million in Series A funding and will use the money to turn its in-house AI live dealer product into a broader B2B business called Sentient Studios. The round was co-led by Will Ventures and RockawayX, with participation from PCV, 6MV, Bullpen Capital, and Advancit Capital.

According to the company, the new raise brings BetHog’s total funding to $16 million. The goal is twofold: keep building AI dealer products on BetHog Casino, and sell the same technology to other gaming operators that want a more flexible live casino setup.

A Fresh B2B Pitch Built Around Lower Friction

BetHog says Sentient Studios will run on a pure revenue-share model, with no setup fees, no monthly minimums, and no fixed-term contracts. That structure is clearly aimed at operators that want to test AI-powered tables without taking on the usual upfront cost tied to live dealer rollouts.

The company is pitching the product as a software-driven alternative to traditional live dealer supply. In simple terms, instead of relying only on third-party studios and human staffing schedules, operators could launch AI-hosted tables faster, keep them running around the clock, and adjust the experience as demand changes.

Nigel Eccles Says Early Results Were Strong

BetHog Co-Founder and CEO Nigel Eccles said the company has been testing its AI dealer for the past six months and found it was “10X more popular” than its live dealer equivalent. He also said the early data showed stronger retention and player satisfaction.

“We’re excited to bring this product to other online casinos where operators can launch and scale their own dealer experiences instantly, operate continuously, and create more personalized interactions for players,” Eccles said.

That is a big claim, and one that will get attention across the casino sector. At the same time, operators and regulators will likely want more proof before treating AI dealers as anything close to a full replacement for conventional live tables.
